03/01/2012: Busy days and weeks - Another late update
Busy Busy times. From this month on I will be monthly playing a set on the We Love Progressive concept, starting in L'Amaral - Bruges. I'm very excited because I will be able to play exactly the kind of music I like the most there, being Progressive House! Cya there on the 27th !

26/10/2011: Even more parties coming up!
Config's schedule is getting filled lately. I'll be playing 5 sets in the upcoming weeks, and I am looking forward very much to every single one!
More good news, because I've just joined BHotradio, where I'll be airing a weekly set on wednesday afternoon, from 15h till 16h! In fact this will be the replay of my Topradio show which will be mixed in 1 piece from now on and split up during the airing on Topradio. Maybe even more good news for the diehard fans is that I decided to make every single new set played on my Bhotradio-show available as download. To avoid some misunderstandings I've decided to give the show a new name: Config pres. In Flight. Flight 001 and Flight 002 are already available in the download section.

25/09/2011: More parties coming up!
Hiya!
Summer's always a moment were less parties are organized, but with the schools back open it's again time for some new parties coming up. On the 24th of September we had a nice party at the Tuning Night Beernem with again a few thousands of attendants. Even the cars themselves had a livestream of our set playing out. Needless to say a very nice experience. DJ's don't get the chance to play outdoors very often so we were glad to do this already.
On the 8th of October I will play a very special Retro-only set at Christopher's Bday party, Facebook page over here. It will be surely worth it to be there!
Of course, like always, there are new sets to be found in the download-section.
01/06/2011: Time for decompression!
Wow.. I must say last 2 months were very busy for me (Config), and Guess What?. First of all we played our set at Culture Club which was very much appreciated by the crowd, afterwards we got the idea to start up our own party-concept, Houseworx. Houseworx is a concept that will take place in Ghent and Bruges and will consist of evenings where we will give the crowds a chance to hear some quality house.
Actually things have gone so fast and before we knew it we organized our first event at Rector, Ghent, on the 27th of May. The people present really went mad on the sets. We managed to book Neon (Culture Club, Topradio), Josh Lasden and many more for our event! I also played a nice prog set and afterwards Guess What? totally teared the roof off, what a party! It feels great to see so many people go crazy on our newly created mashups. At the moment we have done over 10 mashups already and all of them have been partied on heavily already. It's looking good for Guess What?
Either way, there are more Houseworx parties coming up and I'll try to make sure to update this website often enough, but to be sure I already added some usefull links onto the info page, check it out!
Also added, new Crossin Borderlines, Inner Sanctuary and a special set I played at the Afterhours.FM 5YAMC event, check it out!
31/03/2011: Maybe the most exciting update I have made so far!
It must've been around the time when we were playing at Soiree Rouge, Kleine Beer, Beernem, when J.E.O.F. and I, both experienced in playing at the 'usual' parties, decided we wanted to give our sets a new edge. Since we had played together a few times before resulting in succesful parties, we started thinking of the idea we might do well if we were to team up and start playing full on house sets..
After the Soiree Rouge-party we picked up this idea again and it got more and more concrete. The news that we were working on something seemed to have spreaded very fast because for our first official gig we already have been asked to play at Culture Club, Ghent, for the release party of Josh Lasden's new album 'Radiogenic'!
Needless to say we are stunned to get a chance like this and are going to take it with both our hands. Guess What? is truely born, and we will try to amaze you with our self-made edits and mashups of known house and pop tracks. The concept behind Guess What? is unique and as you will hear in our promosets, very addictive.

It's looking very good for us at the moment, and I can already tell you that we are working on a party concept in Ghent AND Bruges where we are planning to launch quality house parties!
Last but not least, the download-section has been fed again with great sets, and also a new mashup was added onto the list! The mashup itself is called Kollektiv Turmstrasse vs Jamie Woon - Night Luechtoorn (Config's Encrypted Mashup) and lies within the line of the previous Encrypted mashups I've made before. Yes! Config is back in Mashuptown!

24/01/2011: BIG update!
It's been way too long since the last update but here I am again.
First of all, on the 19th of February I'm playing again at Kleine Beer Beernem on the KLJ Beernem Soiree Rouge Party! Like always it's going to be a massive party, be there!
Secondly, lots of mixes have been done since my last update, and I'm planning to upload most of them, but I already uploaded Inner Sanctuary 024, the 2010 yearmix, and Crossing Borderlines 059 and 060. Be fast and have a listen!
I'll try to give this website a monthly update from now on, so stay tuned for more party and progressive news!
02/10/2010: Something cooking!
Another busy months for Config. I've played at 2 parties,'De Nacht van Beernem' turned out to be awesome for me! I was really happy with the feedback and the reaction of the crowd during my 2 sets, it was my first night as 'main' dj at a big party like that and I'm hoping, and actually I'm sure it won't be my last.
Something new from the brewery: I might be starting a 2 hour -LIVE- show on Topradio Aalter soon. At the moment we are still at talking, but it's getting more concrete everyday. For me it will be a huge challenge but also a unique opportunity to do this. More info coming more than soon enough!

03/09/2010: More parties coming up!
With the Crossing Borderlines-show running well on Topradio Aalter, it's time for Config to play at a few parties again. The first one is coming up on saturday the 4th in De Kleine Beer in Beernem, where I will play during the entire evening. Mostly commercial tracks but beware, I wouldn't be Config if I didn't drop in a few unknown goodies. Check out the Info-page for more schedule updates!
I've added my latest sets, Crossing Borderlines 055 and Inner Sanctuary 021, to the download-section! Especially Inner Sanctuary is a gem, if I may say so. Certainly one of my favourite sets this year.
18/07/2010: The big entry
Last 4 weeks really changed a lot in the dj-life of Config. In july I started my radioshow at Topradio Aalter, every Saturday at 17h CET you will hear the best in progressive from now on :) The show is called Crossing Borderlines which means that there are 2 Crossing Borderlines now. I'm about to change the name of my AH.FM-show soon. In the meanwhile I've added my latest sets, so check out the download-section and see what's for grabs!
12/06/2010: New sets added
I've added some new sets to the download-section; Inner Sanctuary 20, Crossing Borderlines 052, 053 and a special 3 and a half hour back to back set with DJ Rednas!
Crossing Borderlines 053 is a special episode in memory of Hendrik Cornelis, one of my biggest 'fans', a really great guy with a heart for Trance and Progressive. I guess life gives and takes.... I will surely miss him. May he rest in peace.
The episode received a lot of great comments, so it surely is one to check out.
A bit news about my upcoming show on Topradio Aalter now: I've mixed in my first episode already and the show is starting in July. Once I receive more info about this I won't hesitate to drop it over here too.

14/05/2010: A BIG step up!
It surely has been too long since I updated my website again, but there is a reason to all of that. During the last weeks I have been working on my deejay carreer a lot behind the scenes and to be honest I think I took a huge leap forward.
Last update I was already announcing some nice opportunities were lying ahead and actually there even happened a lot more than I expected!
I am more than happy to announce that Config will join Topradio Aalter for a weekly radioshow! I really have been working on this for quite a long time and of course it's needless to say that I was completely filled with joy when the manager of Topradio Aalter confirmed me that I will be having a radioshow soon! We are still settling the details of this at the moment so I hope to give you another update really soon.
And there's more, because Sense.FM agreed to start airing Inner Sanctuary too on every 3rd saturday of the month at 18 h CET. I'm enormously happy with this, please check out their forums while my set is airing and feel free to post your comments!
Like that wasn't enough of good news I was asked to do an article about my dj carreer so far in Brugsch Handelsblad, a more local newspaper around the regions of Bruges. This is really a big step forward for me and it's just great that my name will be dropped in my own region too. I really hope there will be positive results coming up! I'm deeply honoured to be asked for an interview on a newspaper like Brugsch Handelsblad; that does mean alot to me and hopefully a lot of people will notice me and remember the name. This article can only have positive consequences. I'll scan in the article (in Dutch) and post it up later on the website.
Last but not least there are some new episodes of my show added in the download-section. Highly recommended!

22/03/2010: Finally some more field work ahead!
With Spring finally becoming more and more visual in the weather forecasts during the lasts weeks it's also time for more parties to come up! It's been awhile since I had the chance to do another 'field trip' but yes, at the 10th of April here we go again! I'll be playing at the KLJ 1 Euro Party at Reigerlo Beernem again. Last editions were unforgettable and guess what, this one won't be one to forget soon! Really looking forward to it..
While awaiting the awesomeness I have mixed episode 19 of Inner Sanctuary and again I'm very happy with the result. It's up for you to grab in the download-section!
In the meantime I can also confirm that I will be doing another guestmix for Trancesonic.FM's 2nd Anniversary in the first weekend of April so watch out their website to see when my set will be aired! That is, if you actually care of course :D
During the last weeks I also started to look for new opportunities for my show Inner Sanctuary to be aired on more radiostations. I might have some exciting news very soon but I'll wait to announce anything for now..
By the way, thanks for all the good comments on my last sets everyone, both Crossing Borderlines 050 as Inner Sanctuary 018 were welcomed and appreciated very well, needless to say it feels great to hear and see that more and more of you appreciate my work. Thanks again and keep on checking out those episodes!
28/02/2010: Website works continue
During the last weeks there has been some working on the website. At the first view not really visual changes but a lot has been changed in the system running behind the website. The download-section got restructured and I'm happy to announce that I decided to put up my most famous mashups for download! They are up for you to grab and listen in 320 kbps quality!
Crossing borderlines 049 and Inner Sanctuary 018 have also been added for your listening pleasure. The Inner Sanctuary episode is one of my favourite sets from the lasts monts and certainly the best set I did this year so far.
Last but not least I'm invited to mix a set for Sense.FM's 5th anniversary event! I will surely put this one up for download too once the set has been aired. If you want to hear the set live on air, check out their website.
